- MATH 121 or MATH 125
- EC 308 or EC 309.
Objectives
Students will master the basic tools in optimization and other mathematical methods commonly used in graduate economics courses.

Tentative Exam Schedule
- Midterm 1: Friday, September 7
- Midterm 2: Monday, September 24
- Midterm 3: Friday, October 12
- Midterm 4: Monday, October 29
- Midterm 5: Friday, November 16
- Final: Wednesday, December 12, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Make-up policy
There will be no make-up exam. Students who miss a midterm exam for any reason will get a zero grade and it will count as your dropped exam. Any conflict with the testing dates should be reported to me immediately.
Attendance policy
Attendance is strongly recommended but not required. Students are responsible for all lecture material, including all in-class announcements.
Codes of conduct
