This course is designed to provide undergraduate accounting majors with an introduction to the use of computers and computer applications in business. The course objectives are to provide students with (1) a foundation for using microcomputers in junior and senior level courses in C&BA and (2) the knowledge and training to use microcomputers successfully in entry-level positions in accounting and business organizations. Moreover, computing proficiency is required for a passing grade in this course.
To accomplish the objectives outlined above, the course consists of the following two components:
Students will be given off lecture and lab on Mar. 6 and Mar. 8 in lieu of the two out-of-class exams.
