| Carl gave a presentation on
TRX-Manager and
Virtual Network Computing
to the North Alabama DX Club on March 12, 2002. The
PowerPoint presentation can be viewed or downloaded below. The
download file is
relatively large and takes a long time to load if you are not using a
cable modem or ADSL connection. You might find the presentation of
interest if you are using or are considering trying a radio control
program. The presentation includes screen
shots and annotations of many of the TRX-Manager's features. Some
of the screen shots are large and take a few seconds to load. A brief discussion of dynamic DNS entries and virtual network computing (VNC) set the stage for a live demonstration of TRX-Manager across the Internet. Using TRX-Manager running on his laptop, Carl connected to TRX-Manager running on his home computer. Carl was able to control many of his rigs functions and worked a little DX.
