Your Account Information in the Libraries' Catalog
You can use the "My Account" function in the Libraries' Catalog to:
- Find out what books you have charged out
- Renew your books
- Find out what holds or recalls you have placed
- Find out what fines you have been charged
View your account information in the Libraries' Catalog now.
1. Enter the "My Account" function
From the Libraries' Catalog initial screen - click on the "My Library Account" button on the top right side of the page.
From any page within the Libraries' Catalog - click on the "My Account" button near the top of the page.
2. Login to the catalog.
Fill in the login screen. Type your account number (campus-wide ID for students; social security number for faculty and staff) in the top box. Make sure the dropdown box is set to the correct type of ID number. Enter your last name in the bottom box. Hit the "Login" button.
3. View your account information.
This screen has several sections.
Personal Information shows the address and phone number listed for you in the library's circulation system.
Charged Items shows the list of items you have checked out from any of the University Libraries. This is the section where you can renew your books. Just click in the box to the left of the title you wish to renew, then click on the "Renew Items" button. Double-check the dates to make sure the renewals were accepted.
Request Information tells you what holds and recalls you have placed.
Fines and Fees tells you what library fines you have incurred.
