As the year comes to an end, we wanted to give you all another heads up on the dates for 4th Annual Logistics Doctoral Symposium that will be hosted by the University of Alabama on April 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2008.
The nearest airport is Birmingham which is served by Southwest, Delta, United, American and several other airlines. We have rooms reserved at the Four Points Sheraton hotel in Tuscaloosa at a rate of $94 per night single or double.
We can also now confirm that our colleague, Dr. Charles Sox has arranged a private tour of the nearby Mercedes facility where the sports utility vehicles are assembled for Friday morning.
The campus is at its most beautiful in early April and we hope that you and your Ph.D. students will be able to join us as we host this traditional event. Please mark your calendars.
