- Dr. Conerly has published numerous papers dealing with the practical use of statistics to solve "real-world" problems. He has published articles in publications such as Technometrics, Journal of the American Statistical Association, American Statistician, and Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation. He has directed nine dissertations in Applied Statistics and served on more than 40 dissertation committees in other areas at The University of Alabama. He was appointed as an adjunct Research Scientist at the UAB Cancer Center in 1998. He is a member of the American Statistical Association, Biometric Society and Institute of Mathematical Statistics.
