Dr. Emmett Lodree's research appears in scholarly periodicals such as European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of the Operational Research Society, Computers and Operations Research, and International Journal of Production Economics. His research has also been sponsored by various agencies including the National Science Foundation, the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, and the Army Research Laboratory. He has given over 20 research presentations by invitation at conferences and as guest lecturer at several universities, most notably a humanitarian logistics conference held in Bellagio, Italy and sponsored by the Rockefellar Foundation as well as the 13th Annual Conference for African American Researchers in the Mathematical Sciences (CAARMS) sponsored by the National Security Agency, Princeton University, and others. Dr. Lodree is a member of INFORMS and serves the operations research / management science profession on a regular basis by organizing presentation sessions for professional conferences and reviewing manuscripts for a variety of scholarly journals.
