- Honors, Achievements and Affiliations:
- Dr. Hilton has published and presented papers in the areas of reader response to advertising language, Japanese management, and cultural literacy. He has published in a number of academic journals including Journal of Advertising Research, The Journal of Business and Technical Communication, The Journal of Business Communication, and Journal of Direct Marketing. He was a member of the joint Chiba University-Chiba, Japan/University of Alabama Research Project and is particularly active in communication-related research on Japanese business. As Director of International Business Programs, Dr. Hilton is the coordinator for the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration of the University of Alabama Cooper Cuba Initiative.
