Legal Studies
The Legal Studies area in the Department of Economics, Finance and Legal Studies in the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration at The University of Alabama does not offer a degree in Legal Studies, but offers service classes and electives for other programs in the College. These classes support the core curriculum (LGS 200), the Real Estate Specialization (LGS 407), the specialization in personal wealth management (LGS 403), the accounting program (LGS 504), and the MBA program (LGS 522).
Legal Studies classes are taught by a faculty who have vast experience in law. Our faculty have legal experience as judges, prosecuting attorneys, public defenders, business/personal legal advisors, and civil litigators.
