Assurance of Learning
"Student learning is the central activity of higher education. Definition of learning expectations and assurance that graduates achieve learning expectations are key features of any academic program.”
AACSB's Eligibility Procedures and Accreditation Standards for Business Accreditation, Revised (January 31, 2008, p. 59)
AACSB Standard 15 (Management of Curricula) requires that we use "a well documented, systematic process to develop, monitor, evaluate and revise the substance and delivery of the curricula of degree programs and to assess the impact of the curricula on learning." This is called Assurance of Learning (AOL).
