Third-year student Chad Stefaniak received the Best Doctoral Paper Award at the 2008 Southeast Regional American Accounting Association
(AAA) Conference for “The Effects of Client Organizational Identification on Internal and External Auditor’s Judgments.”

Second-year student John Abernathy presented his paper at the 2008 AAA annual meeting in Anaheim, California: “Cost of Capital and Return on Common Equity as Predictors of Returns within Low Book to Market Portfolios.”
