New ABCI Survey sees slowing of decline, boost in business confidence
The Alabama Business Confidence Index released a report Monday indicating a jump in business confidence and sales figures for the third quarter, despite the now moderating economic decline.
The report says that the recession has a different effect on each metro area in Alabama, with Montgomery registering the highest confidence ratings at 49.6, and the Birmingham-Hoover showing the lowest numbers at 42.7.
